Can My Bearded Dragon Eat Dead Insects?
If your bearded dragon is still growing, its diet needs to contain at least 50 to 60 percent insects. Adult beardies need at least 30% of their food to be insects that are alive and dusted with nutritional supplements. Dead insects are never as nutritious as live ones.
You may be reluctant to feed live insects to your bearded dragon. However, your beardie relies on you to provide nutrition because it is not able to provide live insects for itself.
If you are not willing to feed live insects, then you should maybe consider researching a more suitable reptile.
