NutriGrubs, scientifically known as black soldier fly larvae (Hermetia illucens), are gaining popularity as a nutritious feeder option for reptiles, amphibians, and various invertebrates. These grubs can be kept at room temperature or stored in a cooler environment to extend their shelf life. Ideal storage spots include wine coolers, standard coolers, or areas with good airflow like under an air vent. Avoid standard refrigerators as temperatures below the recommended 55°F may harm them.
