Caring for Your NutriGrubs:
Our NutriGrubs are nourished with a premium, plant-based diet to ensure maximum nutrition for your pet. This can cause them to mature and pupate quicker than larvae from other sources. To extend their shelf life, store them in a cool place. A wine cooler or a spot near an air vent is ideal, as most refrigerators are too cold at below the recommended 55F, which may harm them.
Handy Tip: If some grubs start turning black, they’re nearing the pupation stage. Let them transform into flies for a fun treat! Your pet will enjoy chasing these slow-moving flies, making it a great enrichment activity. Even if your pet isn’t fond of grubs, they might love the flies!
