Buying an enclosure is an important investment for your pet's wellbeing, and we want you to be happy with your purchase. In an effort to achieve this and considering these are a brand new product for us, we are limiting the amount of enclosures we sell for the first few weeks so we can get feedback. If you have purchased this enclosure, we will be contacting you to request constructive criticism and find ways to improve our new line of habitats.
These are an economical solution to housing your pet, in order to be able to supply these at this price there can be potential flaws with them. But these are purely cosmetic at worst and any actual issues will be rectified if they are reported to us.
Our new 4’x2’x2’ PVC Reptile Habitat is the best deal on the internet! Only $249 plus $7.95 flat rate shipping on any number of enclosures!
This enclosure is made with an aluminum frame and PVC panels for the bottom, back, and sides that slide into the frame. The top is screen, and the front viewing panel and doors are acrylic.
IMPORTANT: We do not recommend having lights above 100 watt on top of the screen. With the first batch of enclosures, the coating on the screen can potentially melt causing discoloration which is purely cosmetic so we recommend using a 100w or less bulb or a fixture that can be mounted inside. We have used magnets or hooks with washers to hang lighting and heat fixtures from the screen top. This is purely a cosmetic issue and will be fixed in the next round of enclosures.
Keep enclosure as is and it will be easy to move and take apart as needed, alternatively you can make the structure of the enclosure more secure by using a clear/black silicone along the base and bottom 2-3” to make it more solid and potentially stackable.
Replacement screws are easily found at any hardware store, you can even buy different doorknobs to create your own unique look, these will be standard hardware that can be used for cabinets in general. A small washer can be added to the screws to make them more secure.
We will reimburse for replacement screw sets, just get in touch with us for more info.
Comes standard with acrylic sliding doors.
Acrylic does scratch, so if you are using this enclosure for a reptile with nails the doors will scratch over time. If you don’t like the scratches, we recommend ordering glass from a local glass shop.
Shipped flat. Includes a mallet for easy setup. No additional tools required.
Make sure to remove plastic protective layer off each piece including bottom. Use a microfiber towel to remove any dusty appearance, if it persists it may still have the plastic protective layer.
