Hornworm Dry Diet: This specialized food mix expands to about 5 times its original weight when prepared, with one 2oz packet of dry mix yielding roughly 1/8lb dry or 0.67lbs when cooked.

Steps to Prepare Hornworm Food:

1. Bring 1 cup of water to a boil on the stovetop.
2. When the water reaches a full boil, gradually add the dry food packet while blending with an electric hand mixer.
3. Stir the mixture over heat until the powder is fully dissolved and smooth, ensuring no lumps remain.
4. Remove from heat and keep blending with the hand mixer for an additional 3-4 minutes.
5. Transfer the mixture into a container of your choice and allow it to set at room temperature for 1-2 hours.
6. Once set, the hornworm food is ready for use. Introduce eggs or feed your worms as needed.
