Tailored for planted aquariums or areas with hard water, this product helps avoid algae growth or water cloudiness that can result from phosphate-based buffers. When combined with Alkaline Buffer, Acid Buffer effectively maintains pH levels between 6.0 and 8.0. It also transforms carbonate alkalinity (KH) into usable CO2 as it reduces pH.
