Our Small NutriGrubs (Black Soldier Fly Larvae) are significantly smaller than our Medium CalciGrubs, making them an excellent primary food source for tiny reptiles, baby reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, fish, and birds. They can be kept at room temperature or chilled to extend their shelf life. Use a wine cooler, regular cooler, or place them near an air vent for optimal storage. Avoid standard refrigerators as temperatures below 55°F may harm them.
Handy Tip: If some grubs start turning black, they are nearing the pupation stage. Allow them to transform into flies for a fun and engaging treat for your pet. These slow-moving flies are easy prey, providing great stimulation, and even pets uninterested in grubs may enjoy the flies!
