Zoo Med Digital Combo Thermometer Humidity Gauge
Reptiles have unique temperature requirements to thrive, and what suits a bearded dragon may be harmful to a leopard gecko. Therefore, tracking the heat levels in your pet’s habitat with a reliable thermometer is crucial for their well-being.
Humidity is another critical factor for reptile health, as different species have distinct needs. For instance, a ball python thrives in higher humidity, whereas a desert iguana requires drier conditions. A hygrometer is essential to ensure the environment meets your reptile’s specific hydration needs.
The Zoo Med Digital Combo Thermometer Humidity Gauge offers a dual solution with two separate probes and a clear, user-friendly display to measure both temperature and humidity. Its temperature probe is fully waterproof, making it ideal for checking water temperatures in aquatic setups.
Includes a battery for immediate use.
Usage Guidelines:
Position the temperature probe at the warm basking spot and the humidity probe at the cooler side of the terrarium. Secure the digital display in a dry spot outside the enclosure.
Adjust the Fahrenheit/Celsius switch to your preferred unit. Press the power (pwr) button to activate the device, and hold it for 5 seconds to power off.
For optimal monitoring, we suggest using a pair of Zoo Med Digital Combo Thermometer Humidity Gauges, placing one at each end of the enclosure to track temperature and humidity variations effectively.
