Zoo Med Digital Thermometer
Reptiles have unique heating needs to stay healthy, and a temperature that suits a bearded dragon might be harmful to a leopard gecko. Therefore, using a reliable thermometer to track the conditions inside your reptile's habitat is crucial.
The Zoo Med Digital Thermometer features a single temperature probe and a clear digital screen for easy monitoring of specific spots in your terrarium. This probe is fully waterproof, making it ideal for checking water temperatures, and it can detect a range from -10°F to 140°F.
Comes with a battery included.
How to Use:
Position the temperature probe in the basking zone, right under the heat source, to get the most precise readings. Secure the digital display in a dry spot outside the enclosure. Adjust the Fahrenheit/Celsius toggle to your preference. Press the power (pwr) button to start the device, and hold it for 5 seconds to shut it off.
For optimal monitoring, we suggest using two Zoo Med Digital Thermometers, placing one at each side of the terrarium to keep track of the temperature gradient.
