Our Small NutriGrubs (Black Soldier Fly Larvae) are significantly smaller than our Medium CalciGrubs, making them an ideal primary food source for tiny reptiles, baby reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, fish, and birds. These grubs can be kept at room temperature or cooled to extend their shelf life. Use a wine cooler or place them near an air vent for best results, as standard refrigerators may be too cold (below the recommended 55°F) and could harm them.
Helpful Hint: If some grubs start turning black, they’re nearing the "fly" stage. Allow them to transform into flies for a fun and enriching treat for your pet. These slow-moving flies are easy prey, and even if your pet isn’t fond of the grubs, they might enjoy the flies!
