What Does it Mean When My Bearded Dragon’s Tail is Twitching?

While you may not see it often, your dragon may sometimes twitch its tail in a fast side to side motion. This can mean that it’s getting ready to pounce on something if it’s in hunting mode. It can also mean that it’s stressed by something and is trying to act tough. Be aware that body twitching can also be a sign that it’s not absorbing calcium properly but this will be accompanied by other symptoms like lethargy or decreased appetite.
