Aquatic turtles spend most of their lives in the water, which means that it’s essential to your pet’s health to keep that water clean. However, turtles are pretty messy animals, which means that you need a powerful filter to keep up with all of that mess.

One of the ways you can ensure the cleanliness of your turtle’s water is with the Zoo Med Turtle Clean Canister Turtle Filter. This external canister system is excellent for filtering turtle tanks, vivariums, box turtle pools, and turtle tubs. The filtration unit combines mechanical, chemical, and biological filtering systems―with a sponge, activated charcoal, and bacteria-absorbing ceramic media―and an included spray bar for more excellent aeration, meaning it can filter water at a rate of 79 gallons p/h. Featuring a removable hose-connecting device, an adjustable flow control system, and an easy-to-open filter head, so it’s simple to use.

Using the calibrated anti-vibration bushings, it runs smoothly, quietly, and its compact design saves plenty of space!

Dimensions: 11" x 5.5" x 4.75"

Filtration capacity: 15 gallons
