Every reptile owner knows how important it is to provide a food dish for their pet reptile. Food dishes provide a designated place where reptiles know that it's time to eat, and keeps food off the ground to help prevent contamination.

All but the driest reptiles need an appropriately-sized water dish in their enclosure. Ready access to fresh, clean water is an important part of making sure that your pet stays hydrated. Chronic dehydration is one of the most common problems in pet reptiles — particularly "arid" species like bearded dragons and leopard geckos. Providing a water dish in their enclosure helps make sure your pet stays healthy.

Zoo Med Repti Rock Food and Water Dishes are made to be almost indestructible for longevity, and they have a smooth, non-porous surface to help prevent bacteria from building up. Plus, they have a naturalistic look that will add to the aesthetic of your terrarium.

This product is made in the USA from 100% recycled plastic!

Instructions for Use:

Reptile food and water dishes must be cleaned and disinfected regularly in order to prevent bacterial build-up. Uneaten food should be removed after 12 hours and water should be replaced daily.

Zoo Med Repti Rock Food and Water Dishes, Extra Large are best suited for medium-sized reptiles such as bearded dragons, uromastyx, Greek tortoises, Hermann's tortoises, and other similarly-sized animals.

FAQs:

1. Can feeder insects escape from this bowl?

Zoo Med Repti Rock Food and Water Dishes are not escape-proof dishes; they do have a slight texture to the surface, which means that bugs could escape.

2. Could this work in an underwater aquarium?

Probably not. Even though Zoo Med Repti Rock Food and Water Dishes are very durable, they are not particularly heavy and may float.
