White Laevis is a morph of Porcellio laevis. Porcellio laevis is a large common species of an All white Dairy cow isopods! This species has a very big appetite to match their large size and requires a lot of protein in their diet. If they do not have enough protein in their diet, they can begin to cannibalize! Laevis has potential to be a great clean-up crew due to their appetite. Since they are larger and a bit slower, they can easily be picked off by the main inhabitant, so we recommend keeping an established colony on the side to seed your bioactive tank if needed! They can tolerate a wide range of environments, ranging from semi-arid (Ball Pythons and even Bearded Dragons) to Humid (Crested Geckos and Other Tropical Species). Laevis is a very prolific species and will produce high numbers very quickly.
