UVB needs vary among reptile species. The ReptiSun 5.0 Mini Compact Fluorescent may not deliver adequate UVB depending on your tank size and turtle species.
Measurements are taken from the bulb tip to the basking spot or reptile. UVI values are approximate and can decrease by 30-40% when the UVB bulb is placed over a mesh screen.
