Beardies are omnivores, which means that they eat both plants and animals.
Your bearded dragon diet should contain a variety of insects, vegetables, and a little fruit. In general, a young bearded dragon diet should include 80% of insects and bugs and 20% of plants This should last up until they are about a year and a half old.
Once they reach a year and a half you should gradually transition to 60% insects and 40% plants.
The adult bearded dragons diet is totally opposite to when they are babies, though. Their food should contain 80% of plants and 20% of insects and bugs.

Hi Samara — Green beans are fine to offer on an occasional basis.
Samara
I keep seeing that green beans are good for them if cut into small enough bites. Is this a good or bad choice?
Sayuri
